Description
HST Synchro tap holders are designed for modern CNC machining centers where spindle rotation and feed are synchronized during tapping.
Small differences between programmed feed and the actual pitch of the threading tool can create significant axial forces during rigid tapping. HST Synchro uses a patented compensation mechanism to accommodate synchronization deviations of up to ±0.5 mm.
By reducing unwanted axial loading on the cutting tap, the system helps support improved thread quality, process reliability, and tool life.
