What Is Industrial Brazing?

Industrial brazing is a metal-joining process that uses a filler metal to create a strong joint without melting the base materials being joined.

The American Welding Society explains brazing as a group of joining processes in which filler metal is heated above 840°F (450°C) while remaining below the melting temperature of the base materials.

Brazing is widely used in industries including automotive, aerospace, medical manufacturing, HVAC, construction, and other demanding manufacturing applications.
